Reapers 1 - 5 Grilled

A scorching day at ,Hillbilly Moon Field, where 4087 spectators were in place for today's match. Sakarías Guðmundsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Cándido Cots and Alberto Prados. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. Reapers fielded: Meffometou - Osma, Oyono, Bwele, Lamolinara, Smrekar - Noah, Andreuccetti, Muñoz, Ritokoski - Ternován.

The following players took the field for Grilled: Vadalà - Panigrahi, Webb - Kamel, Lunde, Velho, Carapaica, 田宮 (Tamiya) - Mottl, Parvathaneni, Mudaliar.

Grim Reapers Haltern II entered the field in a 5-4-1 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Reapers on this day, taking advantage of their world class (13) level with that tactic. Grilled decided to play creatively at a extra-terrestrial (16) level. Grilled's Sølve Lunde could have put the guests one up after 18 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but Victor Sylvestre Meffometou was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Down the middle came Kalki Parvathaneni, making a fantastic play that nearly had Grilled take the lead after 22 minutes, but Victor Sylvestre Meffometou preserved the tie. 38 minutes into the game, Reapers seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable (6) level of organisation. Vikram Mudaliar's speed was clear to see after 40 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released Kalki Parvathaneni who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 1. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 41 minutes into the match, putting Grilled ahead 0 - 2. Bhavya Panigrahi was the scorer. 42 minutes into the game, Reapers had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate (5). After 43 minutes of game time, Vikram Mudaliar had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Victor Sylvestre Meffometou was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 44 minutes Reapers tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, Szilas Ternován's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Sølve Lunde delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 44 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. A counterattack by Reapers after 44 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but Joseph-Antoine Noah, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Grilled had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

During the break, Reapers's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid (7) organisation. After 46 minutes of the match, the manager still hoped to turn things around. Joseph-Antoine Noah was ordered to assume a different position on the pitch. He took the place of Argemiro Osma, who in turn replaced his team mate. After 60 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Sølve Lunde a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. Grilled's Douglas Carapaica got himself booked for a foul. As the 70 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Bhavya Panigrahi reluctantly made way for Atang Mangoye on the pitch. With Bhavya Panigrahi no longer on the pitch, Gilbert Webb became the new set pieces taker. The home crowd cheered when, after 77 minutes, 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya)'s charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 78 minutes, Grilled's Salah Kamel burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving 冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) off the field. Dante Tran took his place. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Radovan Jaška came on for Kalki Parvathaneni. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. Omossola Oyono stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Reapers the goal to make it 1 - 4. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Abel Muñoz from Reapers a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 90 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A drive down the left side allowed Gilbert Webb to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 90 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 5. The match ends 1 - 5. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

The most dominating Reapers player was without a doubt Vitaliano Andreuccetti. Omossola Oyono was a disappointment, however. Vikram Mudaliar performed admirably for Grilled. On the other hand, Dante Tran's play was disheartening.
