Grilled 7 - 0 DragStar
The fans at the stadium today were roasting in the hot sun. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. Lineup:

It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 2-5-3 formation while the visitors instead opted for a 3-5-2. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, using their divine (+8) (28) ability to great effect. The game had been going for 7 minutes when
Vikram Mudaliar came in on the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to put away the 1 - 0 goal, giving Grilled the lead. Grilled solidified their lead at the 22 minute mark, as
Chan Ze Han snaked the ball through the central line of defense and finished for 2 - 0.
Moey Xin Seng increased Grilled's lead to 3 - 0, connecting with a hooked ball from the right. The away fans are claiming handball, to no avail. Things were going from bad to worse for the visitors.
Chan Ze Han was able to squirm through the central defense after 34 minutes and score, bringing the lead to 4 - 0.
Kalle ter Berg was not content with his team's lead, and tried to extend it 36 minutes into the game after a nice run through the middle, but his shot went wide. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Grilled did a good job holding on to the ball, with 64 percent of possession. We'll be back after these interminable commercial messages.
Cheers filled the stadium as
Vikram Mudaliar broke through the visitors' central defense to put away the 5 - 0 goal for Grilled. Given a free kick from a ways out after 56 minutes, Grilled sent an arching ball into the penalty box. It was headed clear, but
Bilal Mohammad Harun was waiting just outside the area and fired it home to make it 6 - 0.
Arvid Zarp had a good opportunity to reply with a break through the middle, but the home team's goalkeeper
Manuel Vadalà just wouldn't be beat. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Grilled substitution.
Gilbert Webb came on for
Sølve Lunde. With the clock showing 70 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board.
Kalki Parvathaneni looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for
Bernie Egan, though he would have liked to continue. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution.
Salah Kamel reluctantly made way for
Heng Dong Chu. The fourth official announced that there would be 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. It was obvious that Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle when they directed a break on the wing into the center of the park. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's
Bernie Egan bringing the lead up to 7 - 0.
Arvid Zarp of DragStar received a yellow card after 90 minutes for unsportsmanlike behavior. The match ends 7 - 0. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 64 percent of possession.
The most outstanding Grilled player was without a doubt
Chan Ze Han. I can't remember
Manuel Vadalà ever having a worse night than he just had. Most important DragStar player was
Jindřich Hochman. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by
Abdur-Rahim Khattak today.
