While a boggy pitch like this was an advantage for physical players, it really didn't help those who relied on speed or technique. 2-5-3 was the choice of the day for both coaches. Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+7) (27) level with that tactic. Ismaèl Caymaris got a fingertip on Chu Xin Lee's shot from the left 37 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Kalle ter Berg got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 41 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Kalki Parvathaneni a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. Teo Chuan Yong was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 44 minutes, with his left thigh bandaged. The replacement for the injured player was Moey Xin Seng. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Grilled had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

After 49 minutes of game time, Chu Xin Lee had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Ismaèl Caymaris was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Crypto supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to Joël Bastien who reduced the visitors' lead after 63 minutes to 1 - 3. It was a fine day for Zacharias Troch on his wing, his cross pass to Joël Bastien was especially delicate 73 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. Crypto didn't give in and with 78 minutes played 建 (Ken) 高崎 (Takasaki) was able to make the score 2 - 3 after an attack on the right. With 81 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni reached Moey Xin Seng's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 2 - 4. With 82 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 2 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Salah Kamel. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Kalki Parvathaneni reluctantly made way for Heng Dong Chu on the pitch. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Kalle ter Berg gave 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) a quick hug as he left the field. The referee announced 4 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 2 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 52 percent of the ball.

Most important Crypto player was Michal Cibulka. However, Zacharias Troch made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's top performer was clearly Chan Ze Han. Sølve Lunde on the other hand, had a terrible day.
