Around 22 minutes into the match, Elian Safta used his impressive physique to maintain complete control over his defensive midfield. This caused an Grilled attack to fizzle out with a whimper. Maybe Kalle ter Berg should join the aquatics team instead. He went down dramatically after 39 minutes, crying out with agony as he fell. The visitors' central defense should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Vikram Mudaliar, but the Grilled player managed to shrug them off and fire a low shot that 5-holed the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Well, look at this! Cardi B is on the Enormotron in naught but giant sunglasses, red tassles, and a Holy Hand Grenades of Antioch tank top. I've not seen anything like it before. Chan Ze Han had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 48 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The counter-attacks of Furia were deadly and 53 minutes into the game, Elian Safta controlled a long pass from the right flank and finished to make it 1 - 1. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, and they were successfully passing the ball from the wing into the middle at the behest of their coach. Many thought Chu Xin Lee ought to have been awarded a penalty 57 minutes into the match, as he went down trying to beat Márk Dörögdi after an attack through the middle gave him the one-on-one opportunity. Furia were pushed back, and had many dangerous counter-attacks. An impressive one resulted in a free kick 58 minutes into the match, but Cătălin Sandu put it just wide. As the 70 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution. Mateja Jeftić reluctantly made way for Bhavya Panigrahi. With Mateja Jeftić no longer on the field, Bhavya Panigrahi stepped up to be the new set pieces taker. 70 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Moey Xin Seng gave Bernie Egan a quick hug as he left the field. Chan Ze Han was handed the Grilled captain's armband. With the clock showing 80 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board. Salah Kamel looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for Heng Dong Chu, though he would have liked to continue. With 89 minutes gone, Furia's organization began to suffer due to a lack of experience. The match ends 1 - 1. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 62 percent of possession.

The most outstanding Grilled player was without a doubt Vikram Mudaliar. Good thing Chan Ze Han isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. Furia's best player was Gheorghe Constantinescu. Speaking of stinking up the place, Cătălin Sandu sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham.
