It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 12000 that came out to Kimura Stadiumo. Ernst Gasparetto was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marlon van Egmond and Grégory Gautier. It was a very hot day and some players suffered from this, especially those relying on tough physical play or a lot of fast runs. For the technical ones, on the other hand, this was ideal conditions. Kimura's lineup was: bin Rasdi - 云棕 (Yunzong), 昌凯 (Changkai), bin Mohamed Rumi, Ting Kwang - 友光 (Youguang), Yong Kang, Jie Shi, Chu Yew - bin Othman, Ting Ah.

Grilled's starters: Salmiņš - Lunde, Panigrahi - Kamel, Chuan Yong, ter Berg, Mohammad Harun, Dong Chu - Ze Han, Mudaliar, Xin Seng.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team FC Kimura went for 4-4-2 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled clearly preferred using their divine (+7) (27) ability to attack in the middle. Khoo Yong Kang really should have scored when he was chosen by fate to confront a wide open goal following a great play by 赵 (Zhao) 云棕 (Yunzong) after a corner. The home keeper expected a move to the right, but Bhavya Panigrahi surprised him with a free kick aimed the other way 10 minutes into the match. 0 - 1 for Grilled. Vikram Mudaliar received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 25 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The home crowd was not impressed when Chan Ze Han came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 29 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 3. Vikram Mudaliar was, after 34 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Mohd Nizaruddin bin Rasdi made the save. A penalty was awarded after 35 minutes, and Bhavya Panigrahi made the most of his chance to put Grilled up by another goal. 0 - 4 for the visitors. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.

Woon Chu Yew was doing a great job on his wing, sending in brilliant passes to his teammates in the middle, but 段 (Duan) 友光 (Youguang) seemed unable to profit from this excellent service. Grilled's Teo Chuan Yong made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 48 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Kalle ter Berg delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 49 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. After 63 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Moey Xin Seng a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. Kimura's 赵 (Zhao) 云棕 (Yunzong) was shown a yellow card after 64 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Heng Dong Chu went down after twisting his right ankle in minute 64, but was able to continue the match none the less. Heng Dong Chu would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 70 minutes. A drive down the left side allowed 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 70 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Salah Kamel reluctantly made way for Chu Xin Lee on the pitch. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Kalki Parvathaneni came on for Moey Xin Seng. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Chan Ze Han took over the role of being the Grilled captain. The referee announced 3 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, Chan Ze Han would have put Grilled up another goal 90 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The match ends 0 - 6. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 80 percent of the ball.

Irfan Bakti bin Othman performed admirably for Kimura. Mohd Nizaruddin bin Rasdi on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. However, Bhavya Panigrahi made a disastrous appearance.
