After a play down the right 34 minutes into the match, Grilled's Teo Chuan Yong unleashed a ferocious shot that smashed into the roof of the net - after going over the crossbar. Jānis Salmiņš made a brilliant save 35 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from Dimitri Brekveld on the right hand side. Grilled solidified their lead at the 37 minute mark, as Kalki Parvathaneni snaked the ball through the central line of defense and finished for 4 - 0. Hordikeria's right side looked dangerous after 39 minutes, as Miguel Toledo broke through. Jānis Salmiņš continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. After 40 minutes, the defensive line of Grilled created a counter-attack through the middle that gave Bilal Mohammad Harun a good look at goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 64 percent of possession.

Grilled's Chan Ze Han swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defense were able to clear the ball. The goal to make it 4 - 1 was scored by Massimo Angeli with 53 minutes on the clock, following an opportunistic counter-attack down the middle by Hordikeria. The clock read 54 minutes and things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 5 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Heng Dong Chu. Kalle ter Berg was not content with his team's lead, and tried to extend it 59 minutes into the game after a nice run through the middle, but his shot went wide. Mateja Jeftić struck a 30 yard free kick home after 69 minutes. 6 - 1 for the home team. Hordikeria needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes Dimitri Brekveld made way for Asko Koivukangas. As Hordikeria's captain went off, he handed the armband to Asko Koivukangas. However, Devin Shedd made a spectacular save. The match ends 6 - 1. Grilled did a good job holding on to the ball, with 63 percent of possession. Grilled's best player was Chan Ze Han. Good thing Bhavya Panigrahi isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. Hordikeria's top performer was clearly Gürkan Sezay. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by Massimo Angeli today.
