Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, using their divine (+7) (27) ability to great effect. A questionable penalty after 13 minutes gave the home side the lead, 1 - 0. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as Bhavya Panigrahi knocked the ball home. Chan Ze Han could have put Grilled up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 24 minutes. The visitors almost came back with an equalizer 26 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but Dejan Bolte didn't get enough power behind the attempted finish to seriously challenge the keeper. Grilled added another goal to their lead as Bernie Egan struck home for 2 - 0 after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 3 - 0 as Heng Dong Chu finished it off clinically, firing the shot from a terrible angle. The referee showed Grilled's Kalle ter Berg the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 58 percent possession in this half was spot on!

69 minutes had passed when Grilled put themselves up 4 - 0 after the visiting defenders lost the ball to Moey Xin Seng, who came up from the left and proceeded to easily go around the goalkeeper and knock the ball home. With the clock showing 70 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board. Mateja Jeftić looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for Gilbert Webb, though he would have liked to continue. 70 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Moey Xin Seng gave Chu Xin Lee a quick hug as he left the field. After a play down the right 74 minutes into the match, Grilled's Kalle ter Berg unleashed a ferocious shot that smashed into the roof of the net - after going over the crossbar. Petko 'Petri' Jovanović got left behind when Grilled's Vikram Mudaliar made a sudden rush forward in minute 75, finishing it off with a clinical strike. 5 - 0! Grilled's Vikram Mudaliar had an excellent opportunity 79 minutes in, shooting after bringing down a ball from the right, but he missed the goal by miles! After 80 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving Kalle ter Berg off. Salah Kamel took his place. With 82 minutes played, Grilled's Bhavya Panigrahi received a yellow card for challenging a play with his cleats first. Chan Ze Han should probably have put his team up another goal after 84 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Radboud Bergkamp kept the visitors in the game. The visitors got one back when Azər Məşədiyev finished off a play from the left and scored after 85 minutes. 5 - 1 was the score. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 6 - 1 when Chan Ze Han slid in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. It was announced by the fourth official that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 6 - 1. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 59 percent of possession.

Chan Ze Han performed admirably for Grilled. Good thing Gilbert Webb isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. The most outstanding Podgorica player was without a doubt Dejan Mugoša. I can't remember Dejan Bolte ever having a worse night than he just had.
