Bhavya Panigrahi delivered a good free kick from an excellent position 6 minutes into the game, but luck wasn't on Grilled's side this time and the ball went wide. After 27 minutes, Grilled's Chan Ze Han made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Everyone had expected a shot from the free kick 28 minutes into the game, but Grilled sent the ball sideways instead, giving Chan Ze Han a clear look at goal with no wall in his way. He sent it through the keeper's legs for 0 - 2! After 31 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Bilal Mohammad Harun who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Grilled had the upper hand in possession, maintaining an impressive 64 percent possession of the ball.

70 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Kalki Parvathaneni gave 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) a quick hug as he left the field. With the clock showing 70 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board. Bilal Mohammad Harun looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for Chu Xin Lee, though he would have liked to continue. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Bernie Egan was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 72 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. A surprising free kick routine after 82 minutes nearly resulted in another goal for the visitors, but the strikers were too eager and were caught offside. Big paper red cards were being held up by the opposing supporters with 83 minutes on the clock after Robert Prosinečki's mistimed tackle from behind. The referee only showed the Bulldog player a yellow card though. 85 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Bulldog didn't give an inch and after 86 minutes Hubert Rogowiec was able to put the 1 - 3 goal away after a fine individual play on the right. Grilled's Moey Xin Seng received a ball slotted perfectly through the home side's central defense after 88 minutes, and chipped it past the helpless keeper to increase the lead to 1 - 4. The away fans won't regret traveling for this one! The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 1 beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 1 - 4. Well, look at this!
