Tigers 0 - 4 Grilled
2656 spectators arrived at

The following players took the field for Grilled:

Jian Hui.
Lucky Tigers fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For Grilled Birds, the formation of choice was 2-5-3. It was obvious that Tigers were using their inadequate (5) pressing skill as their primary tactic. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 5 minutes into the match left Grilled's
Moey Xin Seng completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 10 minutes of game time,
Heng Dong Chu had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
Juri Carlino was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. The referee showed Tigers's
Oscar Cosme the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 25 minutes, making it 0 - 2.
Bernie Egan was noted down as the scorer. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from
Heng Dong Chu after 35 minutes, and prevented Grilled from going up another goal.
Bernie Egan of Grilled took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 36 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.
46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
Radovan Jaška came on for
Chirag Thevar. After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Prokop Mottl off the field.
José Luiz Velho took his place. 47 minutes into the match,
José Luiz Velho came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
David van der Meulen would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Timmy Crijne entered the game for Tigers as the match clock showed 60 minutes. As
David van der Meulen exited the field,
Maximilian Jaquet volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. As the 60 minute mark approached, the Tigers coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Andrés Cruz reluctantly made way for
Vladimir Stoyanov on the pitch.
Bernie Egan came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
Juri Carlino but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Grilled's
Bernie Egan made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 70 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Tigers's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle.
Ricardo Maldonado challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 82 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. 87 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Yee Jian Hui gave
Leonard Nguyen a quick hug as he left the field. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 1 minute. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! With 89 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
José Luiz Velho of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 4. The match ends 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 62 percent of the ball.
The most dominating Tigers player was without a doubt
Timmy Crijne.
Juri Carlino was a disappointment, however.
Teo Chuan Yong performed admirably for Grilled.
Leonard Nguyen turned in a dismal performance, however.
