A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 1593 to Stade Sylvio Cator. Alexandre Mellard was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Andriy Shevchenko and 葉 (Ye) 智嘉 (Zhijia). The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. RC Haïtien entered the field in a 3-4-3 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Haïtien tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their brilliant (11) level with that tactic. Grilled decided to play creatively at a mythical (17) level. After 13 minutes, Grilled's Prokop Mottl made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Kristopher Clermont was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his left knee after 14 minutes. The replacement for the injured player was Florian Leroy. After 24 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Bernie Egan who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. 28 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by Kalle ter Berg from 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong)'s cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for Grilled, making the score 0 - 3. With 31 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Cyril Künzler. Moey Xin Seng was, after 33 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Constant Occeus made the save. The visitors' Bernie Egan took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 35 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Grilled. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 69 percent of the ball.

Chirag Thevar would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Radovan Jaška entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Prokop Mottl off the field. José Luiz Velho took his place. Cyril Künzler hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Grilled's Yee Jian Hui an easy chance to knock it in for 0 - 6. A drive down the left side allowed Moey Xin Seng to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 69 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 7. Cyril Künzler of Grilled was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish Ondřej Čečotka, which resulted in a goal making the score 0 - 8. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, José Luiz Velho would have put Grilled up another goal 78 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The visitors added to their lead 79 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Grilled's Mateja Jeftić slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 9. After 80 minutes of game time, Moey Xin Seng had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Constant Occeus was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 4 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 0 - 9. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

Haïtien's top performer was clearly Corentin 'Majisyen' Vernelus. On the other hand, Ondřej Čečotka's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Moey Xin Seng. However, Louis Vara made a disastrous appearance.
