Robbie Football Club entered the field in a 5-5-0 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Going for long shots seemed to be the pick of the day for Football, taking advantage of their mythical (17) level with that tactic. Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+7) (27) level with that tactic.
Petur Follend's speed was almost enough to give Football a goal after 30 minutes, but his nice pass to
Marek Ronkiewicz was not taken care of properly. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. The visiting
Vikram Mudaliar was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 31 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. 32 minutes in, Grilled's
Salah Kamel received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Instead of playing a 50/50 ball into the penalty area, Football's
Matteo Chiriacò skipped past the marking defender and passed the ball to
Benjamin Ivanovic who finished it off from distance. The keeper could only stand and watch as the hard shot hit the underside of the cross bar, and in to make it 1 - 1 with 37 minutes played. 38 minutes into the game,
Moey Xin Seng almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Football's
Alexandro Nicoletti left the field after 39 minutes having twisted his hand in a collision, causing a slight injury.
Alex Jarmerstedt tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day.
Eduard Adrobau was the new captain of Football - handed the armband by the departing player.
Eduard Adrobau looked great 40 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
Vikram Mudaliar. It was obvious that Football set up their play to get a shooter in position, and after 41 minutes they succeeded with their tactics when
Pier Giuseppe Licciardello found a hole in the defence and his long shot left the keeper without a chance. 2 - 1. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 43 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but
Eduard Adrobau got the best of it, blocking the shot from
Kalki Parvathaneni. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.
It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 50 minutes,
Moey Xin Seng broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper.
Eduard Adrobau made a great block, though. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The visitors didn't give in and, after 65 minutes,
Chan Ze Han got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. 80 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
Heng Dong Chu came on for
Chan Ze Han. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. With the scores being level after 91 minutes, the match went into extra time. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.
The guests took the lead 96 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in
Moey Xin Seng scoring to make it 2 - 3. Football's
Alex Jarmerstedt was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 102 minutes.
Tomas Askenstedt of Football received a yellow card after 106 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 119 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Moey Xin Seng gave
Cyril Künzler a quick hug as he left the field. The Grilled captaincy was handed to
吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong). The match ends 2 - 3.
Eduard Adrobau performed admirably for Football.
Alex Jarmerstedt turned in a dismal performance, however. Grilled's best player was
Kalki Parvathaneni.
Bhavya Panigrahi was a disappointment, however.
