Dark skies made the crowd of 67071 at The Cooking Pot a little nervous, but the rain held off. Evan 'Jones' Jones was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Qutugh Mongo and Reuven Rodavsky. Grilled's lineup was: Dob - Jeftić, Panigrahi - 敬龙 (Jinglong), Kamel, Xin Seng, Muthyala, Dong Chu - Egan, Ze Han, Mudaliar.

UDNTK's starters: Barbara - Stryk, Gajic, Monge, Warta - Miguel, Nothhaft, Tăsică, Burghgraaff, Baranczyk - Ton.

Grilled Birds started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas UDNTK FC lined up in a 4-5-1 formation. UDNTK clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could, taking advantage of their divine (+1) (21) level with that tactic. UDNTK's Mariano Miguel hurt his back 11 minutes into the match, and had to be convinced by the medical team that it was safer not to continue the match. Wolf-Alexander Milkau tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. The crowd groaned its disapproval when Mateja Jeftić missed a free kick that would have given Grilled the lead after 16 minutes. Grilled fans held their breath as Chan Ze Han scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! Grilled's Heng Dong Chu took a knock to the head after 31 minutes, due to a badly executed header. He took a few uneasy steps, but got dizzy and then taken off the field. The player that took his place was Chu Xin Lee. 34 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as Quincy Ton struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. Grilled took the lead 41 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. After 43 minutes, Bernie Egan put Grilled ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. UDNTK were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 44 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to Quincy Ton, who smashed it home to make the score 3 - 2. Halftime score was 3 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 61 percent of the ball.

Mateja Jeftić's curling free kick almost found the goal for Grilled, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. Good work by the UDNTK defensive line after 60 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found Wilfred Baranczyk alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Wilfred Baranczyk from UDNTK a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 65 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 67 minutes into the match, the speedy 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) easily outpaced Strzeżysław Warta, chipped the keeper and made the score 4 - 2. Grilled's Bernie Egan increased the lead to 5 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 68 minutes. 72 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Bernie Egan broke through, making the score 6 - 2 for Grilled. This third goal completed a hattrick for Bernie Egan. The referee announced 4 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 6 - 2. Grilled had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

Grilled's top performer was clearly Vikram Mudaliar. However, Bhavya Panigrahi made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating UDNTK player was without a doubt Quincy Ton. Juan Monge turned in a dismal performance, however.
