Grilled 4 - 2 Jujucam
Due to an all-day shower, the spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog. While a boggy pitch like this was an advantage for physical players, it really didn't help those who relied on speed or technique. The following players took the field:

Panigrahi,

The following players had been selected:

Grilled Birds trundled out to the pitch in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, FC Jujucam, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. 4 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by
Mateja Jeftić almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. Big paper red cards were being held up by the opposing supporters with 24 minutes on the clock after
Giovanni Becattini's mistimed tackle from behind. The referee only showed the Jujucam player a yellow card though. Grilled broke through on the left after 27 minutes, with
Moey Xin Seng firing at an impossible angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Grilled added another goal to their lead as
Bernie Egan struck home for 2 - 0 after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's
Kalki Parvathaneni bringing the lead up to 3 - 0. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Well, look at this! Cardi B is on the Enormotron in naught but giant sunglasses, red tassles, and a Holy Hand Grenades of Antioch tank top. I've not seen anything like it before.
Mateja Jeftić's curling free kick almost found the goal for Grilled, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. Jujucam fought on, and after 67 minutes,
Ludovic Genest was able to increase the goal tally to 3 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with a smart lob. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Grilled substitution.
Gilbert Webb came on for
Bhavya Panigrahi. The clock read 75 minutes and things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 4 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
Bernie Egan. Jujucam managed to reduce their deficit as
Stéphane Pierrard finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the home team's defense after 77 minutes. After 80 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving
吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) off.
Heng Dong Chu took his place. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time, they welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The referee showed Grilled's
Moey Xin Seng the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The match ends 4 - 2. Grilled did a good job holding on to the ball, with 56 percent of possession. We'll be back after these interminable commercial messages.
Grilled's top performer was clearly
Moey Xin Seng. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by
Chu Xin Lee today. The most outstanding Jujucam player was without a doubt
Yoann Malet. Good thing
Giovanni Becattini isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance.
