The visitors' Chu Xin Lee took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 31 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Grilled. The's Lars Smalbil got himself booked for a foul. Kalki Parvathaneni was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 33 minutes, with his right thigh bandaged. Chan Ze Han had already been warming up, and came on for Kalki Parvathaneni. After 34 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Chan Ze Han a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Grilled had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

Still trailing on the score board, The adjusted their tactics after 46 minutes. Lars Smalbil had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with Ján Gemer. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Moey Xin Seng came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Rizvi Younes but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. With 67 minutes played, Bilal Mohammad Harun nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. After 70 minutes, Grilled's Chan Ze Han burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. 75 minutes into the match, Chu Xin Lee came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The's Yeoh Cheng Lai made use of his speed to get free of the defence, but he still couldn't get a shot off 89 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The match ends 0 - 4. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

The's top performer was clearly Alois Štajer. Lars Smalbil turned in a dismal performance, however. Chan Ze Han performed admirably for Grilled. Manuel Vadalà was a disappointment, however.
