It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 14669 that came out to Pulau Stadium. Uriel Deyameda Zuza was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Amilcare Muti and Luigi 'Mario' Mariot. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. The following players took the field for Grilled: Vadalà - Jaška, Panigrahi - Parvathaneni, Egan, Ze Han, Mudaliar, Dong Chu - Xin Seng, Muthyala, Mohammad Harun.

Jedadiah F.C. entered the field in a 4-4-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Jedadiah on this day, taking advantage of their excellent level with that tactic. 0 - 1 was the score with 32 minutes played, after Kalki Parvathaneni cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Grilled. With 34 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Vikram Mudaliar. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 36 minutes, Grilled did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, Neeraj Muthyala was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 3. Bernie Egan was, after 37 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Wee Yew Choon made the save. Having contracted a nasty injury to his right foot, Chan Ze Han had no choice but to leave the pitch, 38 minutes into the match. The player that took his place was Salah Kamel. Bernie Egan's speed was clear to see after 39 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released Moey Xin Seng who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 4. Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 40 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 81 percent of possession.

With 51 minutes played, Bhavya Panigrahi nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Good work by the Jedadiah defensive line after 52 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found 拓 (Hiraku) 新谷 (Shintani) alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. Abu Bakar Khaleel of Jedadiah received a yellow card after 54 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 56 minutes, Grilled's Bernie Egan burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5. Bernie Egan received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 57 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The home crowd cheered when, after 59 minutes, Moey Xin Seng's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 70 minutes into the game a free kick by Bhavya Panigrahi found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Grilled's lead 0 - 7. After 88 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Bhavya Panigrahi off the field. José Luiz Velho took his place. With Bhavya Panigrahi no longer on the pitch, Bilal Mohammad Harun became the new set pieces taker. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 7. Grilled had most of the ball, with 81 percent of possession.

Chan Puay Rong performed admirably for Jedadiah. Abu Bakar Khaleel turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Grilled player was Moey Xin Seng. However, José Luiz Velho made a disastrous appearance.
