Clouds darkened the skies at Kandang Harimau as 58070 spectators turned up for the match. Magic Nagalo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kwaku Boadi and Tobias Schroll. The following players took the field for Grilled: Dob - Webb, Panigrahi - Kamel, Mohammad Harun, ter Berg, Xin Seng, Xin Lee - Ze Han, Mudaliar, Egan.

The teams both lined up their players in 2-5-3 formations. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+7) level with that tactic. In a rapid move 12 minutes into the match, Vikram Mudaliar of Grilled lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked Chan Ze Han who easily hit it home to make it 0 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! After 26 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Chu Xin Lee who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. After 35 minutes, Grilled's Bernie Egan burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. Grilled's Salah Kamel was shown a yellow card after 36 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Bot's Kwek Puay Lai took a knock to the head after 36 minutes, due to a badly executed header. He looked wobbly for a second, but eventually just laughed it off and continued playing. Bilal Mohammad Harun received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 37 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Bot, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

With a penalty awarded after 63 minutes, Bot's Carl Pelowski placed the ball low and to the keeper's right, impossible to block. 1 - 4. Bot's Anthony Jarvis cut towards the middle after 78 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 2 - 4. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, Heng Dong Chu came on for Chu Xin Lee. Bhavya Panigrahi would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 85 minutes. Bhavya Panigrahi was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The visitors' Vikram Mudaliar took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 89 minutes into the match. 2 - 5 for Grilled. The home crowd were delighted when Phang Lai Chuan scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 3 - 5. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! The match ends 3 - 5. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

The most dominating Bot player was without a doubt Phang Lai Chuan. On the other hand, David Anžel's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) turned in a dismal performance, however.
