The rain was pouring down at the stadium today. The rain was pouring down, it was the kind of weather favoured by strong players who stick to simple football. For players possessing of speed or technical skills, the day really was as grim as for everyone else. Lineup:

Grilled Birds started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas Koloopayevka FC lined up in a 4-5-1. Like the adage Koloopayevka were great at switching from defense to attack, and after 7 minutes,
Alexey Slovyagin swept through the middle on a fantastic counter-attack, making the score 0 - 1. Due to some great work on the right wing Grilled's
Moey Xin Seng was able to even the score 13 minutes in to 1 - 1. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
Trifon Samylin slipped through the left defense to come up alone against
Massoud Dob, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning-fast reflexes. Oh, it's a stupendous shot on goal! A Caravaggio! A Michelangelo! A Venus on the Half Shell! 22 minutes into the match and
Heng Dong Chu has created art for the ages for Grilled, putting them ahead 2 - 1. Oh, I'm weeping. I can't stop my eyes. 24 minutes into the game,
Antoniy Sautin broke up a promising Grilled attack single-handedly, using just the right amount of physical pressure on the ball holder. Grilled's
Neeraj Muthyala had an excellent opportunity 27 minutes in, shooting after bringing down a ball from the right, but he missed the goal by miles! After 32 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
Bernie Egan might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However,
Maico Kitzmüller made a spectacular save.
Francesco Ygnard was first to reach a long ball launched through the center from Koloopayevka's defense 33 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the keeper to make the score 2 - 2. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Nikki Minaj appeared on the Jumbotron wearing pink lipstick, a towering pile of platinum-white hair, and a pair of soccer balls. Koloopayevka had a good opportunity to score the go-ahead goal after a combination on the right but the home team's keeper
Massoud Dob saved
Andrzej Wylężek's shot that was headed straight to the top corner. With 57 minutes played
Bhavya Panigrahi almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
Hasan Ababneh Shilbayeh stunned the crowd with a brilliant counter-attack from the left, giving Koloopayevka the goal to make it 2 - 3. As the 60 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution.
Chu Xin Lee reluctantly made way for
Chan Ze Han. With a shot lofted in from just outside the penalty area 73 minutes in,
Bhavya Panigrahi of Grilled evened the score to 3 - 3. After a fine move down the middle
Kalki Parvathaneni nearly put the home side one up with 78 minutes played. His final touch escaped him though and the keeper smothered the ball. With the clock showing 80 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board.
Moey Xin Seng looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for
Vikram Mudaliar, though he would have liked to continue. The Grilled captaincy was handed to
Chan Ze Han. It was announced by the fourth official that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 3 - 3. Grilled had the upper hand in possession, maintaining an impressive 61 percent possession of the ball.
Grilled's best player was
Kalki Parvathaneni. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by
Islom Davlatov today. The most outstanding Koloopayevka player was without a doubt
Hasan Ababneh Shilbayeh. Good thing
Carlo Beckberger isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance.
