Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Jurong derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. After 38 minutes, Pierre-Yves Robert came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Ramseille the lead. The goal to make it 3 - 1 was scored by Leonard Bačnar after 40 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by Ramseille. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 59 percent of the ball.

After 65 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Islom Davlatov off the field. Heng Dong Chu took his place. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Steinar Ramberg from Ramseille a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 74 minutes, Carl-Georg Reeperbahn put Ramseille ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Kalki Parvathaneni had a couple of good opportunities to reply after getting through the middle of the opposition defence, but the home team's keeper Giancarlo Buffon was simply unbeatable. Idrissa Sougoufara stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Ramseille the goal to make it 5 - 1. Bhavya Panigrahi would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 80 minutes. 88 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Chan Ze Han came on for Kalki Parvathaneni. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 5 - 1. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

The most dominating Ramseille player was without a doubt Idrissa Sougoufara. Steinar Ramberg turned in a dismal performance, however. Chu Xin Lee performed admirably for Grilled. On the other hand, 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita)'s play was disheartening.
