Kalki Parvathaneni could have put his team up another goal 30 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Moey Xin Seng of Grilled seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 4 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Cyril Künzler. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Koh Jia Beng from Kangaroos a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 42 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Grilled's Cyril Künzler hurt his back 43 minutes into the match, and had to be convinced by the medical team that it was safer not to continue the match. The replacement for the injured player was Islom Davlatov. Cyril Künzler was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

67 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as Gilbert Webb finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 70 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Moey Xin Seng of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6. After 71 minutes, Grilled's Chu Xin Lee burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 79 minutes, making it 0 - 8. Moey Xin Seng was noted down as the scorer. That made three goals for Moey Xin Seng and he was marked down for the hat trick. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 88 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Hoàng Trung Quá was the replacement. With 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) no longer on the pitch, Bhavya Panigrahi took over free kick duty. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. Moey Xin Seng wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for José Luiz Velho after 88 minutes. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 3 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. A drive down the left side allowed Vikram Mudaliar to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 90 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 9. The match ends 0 - 9. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

The most dominating Kangaroos player was without a doubt Chua Chang Shun. However, Heng Min Xin made a disastrous appearance. Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. On the other hand, Hoàng Trung Quá's play was disheartening.
