Bernie Egan of Grilled took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 10 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. A penalty was awarded after 30 minutes, and Cyril Künzler made the most of his chance to put Grilled up by another goal. 0 - 3 for the visitors. The home keeper was stunned 31 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by Cyril Künzler and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 4. After 34 minutes, Grilled's Cyril Künzler swiftly ran past Lim Jie Chi and nutmegged the keeper! 0 - 5. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Cyril Künzler. With the scoreboard showing that 38 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after Gilbert Webb came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 39 into the match, LetsGetIt's Ramón Sanz fell flat on his chest. After a breather, he was ready to continue. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

After 46 minutes, Grilled felt secure enough to make a tactical change. Bernie Egan and Islom Davlatov assumed each others positions on the field. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) reluctantly made way for Bhavya Panigrahi on the pitch. 54 minutes into the match, Chu Xin Lee came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 68 minutes, Grilled did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, Chu Xin Lee was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 6. With 72 minutes played, Islom Davlatov nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from Vikram Mudaliar after 86 minutes, and prevented Grilled from going up another goal. LetsGetIt's Kok Guang Min finished emphatically to make the score 1 -6 after 87 minutes, after the enigmatic Lam Da Leng pulled a delightful long pass from his box of tricks to bypass the defence. Grilled's Bernie Egan made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 87 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Sundar Shetty was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his right knee after 88 minutes. It was a critical moment for the team, as there were no substitutes on the bench for the injured player. As Sundar Shetty left the field, the coach signaled to Heng Ting Han to be the new set pieces taker. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Hoàng Trung Quá came on for Gilbert Webb. LetsGetIt's top performer was clearly Heng Ting Han. Cătălin Stănică turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Kalki Parvathaneni. Hoàng Trung Quá on the other hand, had a terrible day.
