Grilled Birds entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Mistic team, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+5) level with that tactic. After a fine move down the middle Neeraj Muthyala nearly gave the home side a goal after 5 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Grilled's Chu Xin Lee tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. The referee showed Grilled's Neeraj Muthyala the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Mistic took the lead after 25 minutes making the score 0 - 1. Yvan Delacroix placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Islom Davlatov charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Grilled, but the shot went well wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, a long pass from Mistic's Benoît Palierne caught the defence out of position. Daniel Yvinec collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 0 - 2. With 40 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by Grilled's Cyril Künzler reached Bilal Mohammad Harun's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 1 - 2. Benoît Palierne caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately Daniel Yvinec was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. 42 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as Saleh Al Sulaiti finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Bhavya Panigrahi came on for 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita). 46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Neeraj Muthyala gave Kalki Parvathaneni a quick hug as he left the field. Grilled refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, Islom Davlatov managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3. No matter how hard he tried, Moey Xin Seng just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 74 minutes. With 75 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Saleh Al Sulaiti of Mistic to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 2 - 4. Islom Davlatov almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni cut towards the middle after 90 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 3 - 4. The match ends 3 - 4. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Most important Grilled player was Moey Xin Seng. Bhavya Panigrahi was a disappointment, however. Yvan Delacroix performed admirably for Mistic. However, Alexis Choplin made a disastrous appearance.
