Following a foul after 29 minutes, Grilled got themselves a free kick just outside the penalty area. Cyril Künzler levelled the scoreline - 1 - 1. After 37 minutes, Chan Ze Han strained his groin quite severely and had to be helped off the field by the physio. Kalki Parvathaneni tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Moey Xin Seng took over the role of being the Grilled captain. 40 minutes into the match, Grilled's Vikram Mudaliar demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to Chu Xin Lee who chipped it in for 2 - 1. Chu Xin Lee could have increased the lead after 41 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Arrogancae were able to draw a foul with their counterattacks, but the shot from Tanio Bagazgoitia went into the arms of the keeper. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Bhavya Panigrahi entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. Arrogancae's Nicola Abis had a good first touch on the flank, but was crowded and, after a change of plan, sent the ball to Lev Vodov who somehow managed to curl the ball wide. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Vikram Mudaliar reluctantly made way for Islom Davlatov on the pitch. Grilled's Chu Xin Lee saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 85 minutes. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The counterattacks of Arrogancae were deadly and 90 minutes into the game, Ruddy Lora received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 2 - 2. 90 minutes in, Arrogancae's Cuno Ulrich Dupp received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
