The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Arrogancae went for 4-5-1 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+4) level with that tactic. 12 minutes into the game Chu Xin Lee could see that the opposing goalie was out of position and tried an unexpected lob that the keeper just barely reached. The rebound went to Vikram Mudaliar who failed to hit the target. Some great play up the middle by Arrogancae led to a chance for Frank van der Heiden to score after 13 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Down the middle came 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita), making a fantastic play that nearly had Grilled take the lead after 15 minutes, but Felipe Porras preserved the tie. 17 minutes in, Arrogancae's Anacleto Rissoto received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Speedy Kalki Parvathaneni tried one of his patented rushes 28 minutes into the game, but Prohar Kryvec was just as fast and averted the attack. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Gholi Charkhchian, but the Arrogancae player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Kalki Parvathaneni limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, with 34 minutes on the clock, could this prove costly for his team? The replacement for the injured player was Islom Davlatov. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Arrogancae enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) off the field. Bhavya Panigrahi took his place. Arrogancae managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Ruddy Lora cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. With 54 minutes played, Arrogancae put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Tanio Bagazgoitia, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Arrogancae scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Ruddy Lora after 70 minutes. Arrogancae put themselves up 5 - 0 when Nicola Abis broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Arrogancae's Frank van der Heiden saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 75 minutes. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Vikram Mudaliar reluctantly made way for José Luiz Velho on the pitch. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 5 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Arrogancae, with 55 percent of the ball.

Arrogancae's top performer was clearly Ruddy Lora. On the other hand, Anacleto Rissoto's play was disheartening. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Chan Ze Han. Bhavya Panigrahi turned in a dismal performance, however.
