12000 spectators had found their way to ThreeB Arena, despite the heavy rain. Xander Schinkels was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ben Lee and Peter Hillerup. The wet pitch made it difficult for technical or quick players to stand out. For once, the players relying on physical strength gained the upper hand. ThreeB entered the field in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Horatio Hart hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving ThreeB's Eliodoro Namorado an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 0. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 15 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but Harm Schakel got the best of it, blocking the shot from Bernie Egan. Chu Xin Lee tied the game at 1 - 1 after 16 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. ThreeB took the lead, 2 - 1, after a penalty 17 minutes into the match. Gualtiero Ceccato scored from the penalty spot. Coming through the middle Chan Ze Han almost scored the equaliser for Grilled after 24 minutes, but Harm Schakel made an excellent save, tipping the awkward curled shot past the post. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni put the ball in the onion bag after 27 minutes to make it 2 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Chu Xin Lee gave Bhavya Panigrahi a quick hug as he left the field. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Hoàng Trung Quá reluctantly made way for 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) on the pitch. Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 58 minutes with a superb strike from the right. With 67 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 2 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Bernie Egan. 79 minutes into the game, Eren Serpin had to leave the field due to a rib injury. Krystian Rykowski tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. Given a free kick close to the byline, Grilled tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Vikram Mudaliar slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 5, 80 minutes into the game. Chan Ze Han increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 2 - 6. The referee announced 4 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 91 minutes, making it 2 - 7. Vikram Mudaliar was noted down as the scorer. The match ends 2 - 7. Grilled had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.

Most important ThreeB player was Rafał Łysakowski. Toh Hao Ying was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was Moey Xin Seng. Krystian Rykowski on the other hand, had a terrible day.
