Nobike 6 - 3 Grilled

It was a scorching day at the stadium today. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. The following players took the field: Jaszczyński - 子 (Zi), Ndika, Kelemen, Cebekhului - Bermer, Tinga, Vlasici, Svenstrup, Kuismanen - Savenok.

They fielded: Dob - Webb, 中北 (Nakakita) - Künzler, Xin Seng, Mohammad Harun, Muthyala, Romijn - Mudaliar, Ze Han, Parvathaneni.

Nobike started the game in a 4-5-1 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Nobike mostly relied on their divine (+1) long range shooting ability. 7 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but Florus Romijn, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. 24 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by Saki Kuismanen almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. Florus Romijn managed to make an excellent pass from the wing, but Kalki Parvathaneni was not as skillful and couldn't finish it off. Nobike focused on finding shooting opportunities from distance and after 32 minutes Ronni Svenstrup fired off the big cannon, but the shot went sailing over the cross bar and into the car park. 35 minutes in, Grilled's Neeraj Muthyala received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. It was obvious that the tactic of the day for Nobike was to go for long shots, but in order to score they have to do better than the shooting attempt from Fabrice Ndika after 37 minutes, which was a total failure. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

Grilled's Neeraj Muthyala soared above the crowd, but couldn't knock the corner home 67 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Vikram Mudaliar off the field. Islom Davlatov took his place. Grilled's Islom Davlatov managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 70 minutes. 0 - 1. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Chan Ze Han delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 81 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. After 83 minutes Nobike showed the crowd a glorious passing play which put Saki Kuismanen in a perfect shooting position. His low hard shot was just as glorious, placed just inside the keeper's right post making it 1 - 1. Saki Kuismanen could have put Nobike into the lead after 85 minutes, but the free kick went just wide. 86 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Grilled's Neeraj Muthyala received his second yellow card and was sent off. After 87 minutes, Grilled began to show their lack of experience and they threatened to wilt under the heavy pressure from their opposition. Nobike's Cosmin Vlasici was shown a yellow card after 88 minutes for slicing down an opponent. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. After the regular 91 minutes, the agony of extra time followed. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Nobike, with 52 percent of the ball.

A review of the gameplan helped Grilled get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. The head of Gilbert Webb connected with a corner kick after 92 minutes, and the ball ended up with 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) of Grilled who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 2. Siberyn Tinga held up a Nobike attack after 103 minutes, waited until 莫 (Mo) 子 (Zi) was in shooting position, and then elegantly set him up. 莫 (Mo) 子 (Zi) didn't disappoint his team mates, and from a distance he curled the ball with precision to the right of the keeper making it 2 - 2. 119 minutes into the game, Nobike wanted to bring some new energy to their game. 莫 (Mo) 子 (Zi) gave Roberto Franzetti a quick hug as he left the field. The result was still a draw, so the match had to be settled with penalties.

Nobike's Mulalo Cebekhului made no mistake. Massoud Dob didn't have a chance. 3 - 2. Grilled's Cyril Künzler kept his cool as he faced down Jerzy Jaszczyński. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 3 - 3. Nobike's Saki Kuismanen coolly put the ball past Massoud Dob. 4 - 3. Grilled's 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) didn't hesitate but Jerzy Jaszczyński managed the save, resulting in an unchanged 4 - 3 score. Nobike's Viktar Savenok was relaxed as he smoothly put the ball in the net. 5 - 3! Grilled's Moey Xin Seng drove the ball hard to the corner but couldn't get it past the outstretched arm of Jerzy Jaszczyński. The score remains 5 - 3. Nobike's Jerzy Jaszczyński showed he has nerves of steel when it comes to penalties, easily changing the score to 6 - 3. The match ends 6 - 3. Most important Nobike player was Jerzy Jaszczyński. Viktar Savenok on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was Islom Davlatov. On the other hand, Gilbert Webb's play was disheartening.
