It was a sunny day at the stadium today. For some players the sunny weather was bad news. It made Powerful and Quick players a bit sluggish. For Technical players, it was instead an advantage, allowing them to shine on the pitch. Grilled Birds entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, fuffolandia, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+4) level with that tactic. Vikram Mudaliar caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 5 minutes. This gave Grilled the 1 - 0 lead. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Vikram Mudaliar increasing the lead to 2 - 0. After 14 minutes, Grilled were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. Chan Ze Han did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. Grilled's Vikram Mudaliar swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. With 21 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Moey Xin Seng, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

The bench was restless, and with 52 minutes passed fuffolandia's coach gave Shehryar Nizami the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Oszvald Kirják reluctantly left the field. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Chan Ze Han should probably have put his team up another goal after 54 minutes after breaking through the middle, but some great goalkeeping by Tiziano Chittaro kept the visitors in the game. Pietro Lepore always provides an aerial threat at corners, and with 55 minutes gone, he demonstrated this, outjumping his marker, then letting out an anguished howl as his powerful header went narrowly wide. Grilled's Cyril Künzler saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 57 minutes. 59 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) gave Bhavya Panigrahi a quick hug as he left the field. As the 60 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Neeraj Muthyala reluctantly made way for Islom Davlatov on the pitch. After 71 minutes, the fuffolandia coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Tomi Lugibil off the field. Gabriele Criscenzo took his place. With Tomi Lugibil no longer on the pitch, Donatello Sdino took over free kick duty. With 73 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, fuffolandia showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when Shehryar Nizami got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. fuffolandia's Umberto Gambino excelled in some fine tricks that completely confused Moey Xin Seng - and the finish was no less spectacular - 3 - 2! 75 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Kalki Parvathaneni broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Grilled. With 76 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by fuffolandia's Samuele Altobelli reached Alessandro Tessitore's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 4 - 3. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 5 - 3 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Gilbert Webb after 80 minutes. fuffolandia's Samuele Altobelli got himself booked for a foul. Chan Ze Han could have increased the lead after 83 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 5 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 57 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Chan Ze Han. Bhavya Panigrahi turned in a dismal performance, however. fuffolandia's best player was Shehryar Nizami. Tiziano Chittaro on the other hand, had a terrible day.
