Catrachos 3 - 5 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> The fans braved the pouring rain at the stadium today. While a boggy pitch like this was an advantage for physical players, it really didn't help those who relied on speed or technique. The following players took the field: Alexandre - Burnet, Hein - Mendoza, Valderrama, Moreno, Alonzo, Cesar - Kubat, Barrientos, de la Cruz.

Starters: Dob - Mohammad Harun, 中北 (Nakakita) - Künzler, Davlatov, Egan, Muthyala, Romijn - Xin Seng, Ze Han, Xin Lee.

As the teams spread out over the pitch, it became clear that they would both be using a 2-5-3 formation today. The visiting Neeraj Muthyala was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 35 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. Islom Davlatov of Grilled took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 37 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. The visitors almost increased their lead after 40 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. Florus Romijn came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Rodrigo Alexandre but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 54 percent of the ball.

Frédéric Hein tried to get a goal back for Catrachos but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. Junior Cesar's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert Ringo de la Cruz was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Catrachos. 1 - 2. After 72 minutes, Catrachos sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Dinçer Kubat, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Islom Davlatov from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 78 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 81 minutes played Dinçer Kubat almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Catrachos's José Alonzo got himself booked for a foul. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 85 minutes into the match left Grilled's Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee completely free to score. 2 - 3 for the visitors. Under heavy pressure after 86 minutes, the inexperienced Grilled struggled to maintain their level of play. Grilled's Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee seemed to stun everyone on the field with an accurate shot that seemed to come from nowhere. Somehow, the keeper managed to keep his cool and made a fantastic save. After 88 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Moey Xin Seng" class="awayplayer">Moey Xin Seng who increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 4. Catrachos supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to Ringo de la Cruz who reduced the visitors' lead after 88 minutes to 3 - 4. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 3 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 89 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 3 - 5. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The match ends 3 - 5. Grilled had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Catrachos's best player was Rodrigo Alexandre. However, Dinçer Kubat made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's top performer was clearly Moey Xin Seng" class="awayplayer">Moey Xin Seng. On the other hand, Bilal Mohammad Harun" class="awayplayer">Bilal Mohammad Harun's play was disheartening.
