However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. Grilled used their magical ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Joel Wik, but the SKY player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 20 minutes into the match after a good combination through the middle, but when Kalki Parvathaneni" class="awayplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni tried to finish the attack, he couldn't get enough power on the shot to seriously challenge the keeper. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Grilled levelled the score after 33 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as Kalki Parvathaneni" class="awayplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. After 34 minutes, Grilled's Florus Romijn swiftly ran past Joel Wik and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 52 percent of the ball.

The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. Vikram Mudaliar" class="awayplayer">Vikram Mudaliar wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Islom Davlatov after 46 minutes. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 49 minutes played, Joel Wik of SKY made the score 2 - 2. As the 54 minute mark approached, the SKY coach decided it was time for a substitution. Markus Hiironniemi reluctantly made way for Jani Hiekkala on the pitch. Arttu Jäsberg became the new SKY captain. Some great play up the middle by SKY led to a chance for Miko Broberg to score after 56 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni" class="awayplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni was shown a yellow card after 64 minutes for slicing down an opponent. SKY took the lead after 65 minutes as a result of Miko Broberg's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 3 - 2. Content with how the game was proceeding, the SKY coach let Jani Laurila replace Pohto Cederqvist after 71 minutes. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 80 minutes. Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han was given a chance to change things around. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 1 minute. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 3 - 2. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Valeriy Babonin performed admirably for SKY. However, Ahti Backman made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's top performer was clearly Islom Davlatov. Florus Romijn on the other hand, had a terrible day.
