-Blitz- 4 - 1 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> 48422 spectators had found their way to ReducedToRubble, despite the heavy rain. Dieter Berkesheim was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niko Steedmann and Vilhelm Tillen. The wet pitch made it difficult for technical or quick players to stand out. For once, the players relying on physical strength gained the upper hand. The derby had been the talk of Jurong all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium. Lineup: Hernalsteen - Abdul Rahim Sufyan, Labutin, Mohd Abdul Rasyid - Kamat, Tze Chao, Monari, Ricke, Rey - Schachner, Oscate.

They fielded: Batâr - 中北 (Nakakita), 入江 (Irie) - Künzler, Xin Lee, Davlatov, Parvathaneni, Romijn - Ze Han, Mudaliar, Muthyala.

-Blitz- fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For Grilled Birds, the formation of choice was 2-5-3. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their mythical level with that tactic. Gagan Kamat caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 18 minutes. This gave -Blitz- the 1 - 0 lead. -Blitz- put themselves up 2 - 0 when Rogger Oscate broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Neeraj Muthyala slowly got up on his feet, clutching his right thigh, but eventually signalled that he was ready to play on. A lovely run by Grilled's Cyril Künzler left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. Grilled had a fair chance to reply after 35 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end Islom Davlatov was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave Hoàng Trung Quá the opportunity the player had been hoping for. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) reluctantly left the field. 76 minutes into the match Grilled's Islom Davlatov head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. The visitors replied 77 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as Neeraj Muthyala dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes Neeraj Muthyala made way for Iman Eshrafi. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) got left behind when -Blitz-'s Ricardo Rey left scorch marks in the turf 81 minutes, finishing off with a blisteringly swift strike. 3-1! -Blitz- solidified their lead at the 82 minute mark, as Giorgio Monari dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 1. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 4 - 1. -Blitz- enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating -Blitz- player was without a doubt Gagan Kamat. Tsamin Abdul Rahim Sufyan was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was Iman Eshrafi. However, Valentin Batâr made a disastrous appearance.
