Fire Waves 3 - 8 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Lineup: Tiomulana - Ananda, Tevreden - Jodiwongso, Asplund, Kadlčák, Mahmud, El Mouhammady - van Alen, Merrits, Løgstrup.

The following players took the field: Batâr - 入江 (Irie), Trung Quá - Künzler, Muthyala, Saliman, 中北 (Nakakita), Romijn - Parvathaneni, Ze Han, Xin Lee.

Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 2-5-3 formation. Fire Waves took a creative approach on the field. Grilled took the lead 8 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han was the scorer. Fire Waves's Varley van Alen has the wonderful ability to create chances out of thin air. 11 minutes into the match he bamboozled a couple of opposition defenders before sending the keeper the wrong way and sidefooting the ball home into an empty net. That totally unexpected burst of flair made it 1 - 1. The visiting Mohammad Ramli Saliman was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 12 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score. The visitors' Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 18 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Grilled. The swift technical skills of Eigil Løgstrup were often too much for the tall but somewhat slow 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) who was humiliated after 21 minutes. He'll be breathing a huge sigh of relief after the final shot went wide. Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 4. The Grilled free kick 33 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 5! This third goal completed a hattrick for Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han. Halftime score was 1 - 5. Grilled had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

After the ball was lifted in from the left, Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 48 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. 49 minutes in, Fire Waves's Petri Asplund received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The bench was restless, and with 65 minutes passed Fire Waves's coach gave Delano Asoedanoe the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Carsten Merrits reluctantly left the field. A well placed corner kick from Petri Asplund was followed by Hubert Kadlčák's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Fire Waves, the score now 2 - 5. Grilled increased the lead to 2 - 6 as Cyril Künzler scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. Fire Waves's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 75 minutes into the match as Delano Asoedanoe ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 3 - 6. After 79 minutes, Grilled's 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 3 - 7. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Gene Filippone after 80 minutes. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) came on for Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han. Grilled increased their lead after 81 minutes when 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through on the right, upping the score to 3 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 3 - 8. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

Most important Fire Waves player was Petri Asplund. However, Fahrizal Tiomulana made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's top performer was clearly Cyril Künzler. Gene Filippone on the other hand, had a terrible day.
