Grilled 2 - 2 Changi

iv id="matchReport"> Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 78937 to The Cooking Pot. Mihail Burcea was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Williams Beocksteiner and Horst Schefhold. They fielded: Batâr - 入江 (Irie), Trung Quá - Künzler, Xin Lee, Muthyala, Parvathaneni, Romijn - Ze Han, Davlatov, Saliman.

Lineup: Autet - Selestrin, Hertl, Qiang Chuan - Soroa, Kim Yun, Poon, Xu, Yau How - Lecoq, Goldschmidt.

Grilled Birds entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Changi Genius, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled broke through on the left 8 minutes into the game, with Mohammad Ramli Saliman firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Neeraj Muthyala of Grilled seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Cyril Künzler. After 37 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Chu Xin Lee" class="homeplayer">Chu Xin Lee might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Agustí Autet made a spectacular save. The referee showed Changi's Manuel Soroa the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, managing only 39 minutes for his team this day. The replacement for the injured player was 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang). With 40 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Changi showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when Chua Yau How got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. With 41 minutes played, Raymond Poon of Changi fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

As the game started to slip away for Changi, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. The Changi coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. Grilled's Islom Davlatov was shown a yellow card after 65 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The crowd was silenced 75 minutes into the match as the visiting team's Mathieu Lecoq came in from the left, levelling the score to 2 - 2. Grilled had a good opportunity to take the lead as 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of Agustí Autet. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Edy Goldschmidt from Changi a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 80 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 2 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Mohammad Ramli Saliman. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) was a disappointment, however. Changi's top performer was clearly Mathieu Lecoq. On the other hand, Chua Yau How's play was disheartening.
