Grilled 2 - 1 Sheares

iv id="matchReport"> 46226 spectators had come to Olympic Lyons Park this cloudy day. Anes Bašura was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Godwin Ufuoma and Albert Unnþórsson. The match took place on neutral ground. They fielded: Batâr - Muthyala, Filippone - Künzler, Xin Lee, Xin Seng, Parvathaneni, Won - Saliman, Leong Kum, 勇航 (Yonghang) .

Starters: Rodriguez - Ricciatti, Balme, Bartolo - Růžička, Hovland, Talka, Polkau, Surmont - Woodward, Marinovic.

Grilled Birds entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Sheares H, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 6 minutes allowed E. Hovland to score for Sheares. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. With 20 minutes played, after a good run down the left, 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Grilled with a strike from the left, but R. Rodriguez managed to ward the shot off for a corner. 34 minutes in, Grilled's M. Saliman received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 39 minutes into the match, an alert 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) bagged the ball for Grilled, levelling the score to 1 - 1. Sheares's V. Ricciatti got himself booked for a foul. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 41 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from C. Xin Lee, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

The home side's K. Parvathaneni came close to extending the lead 47 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but R. Rodriguez managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. A wonderful trick by M. Saliman that left C. Bartolo bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. M. Saliman should probably have put his team up another goal after 72 minutes after breaking through the middle, but some great goalkeeping by R. Rodriguez kept the visitors in the game. The referee showed Sheares's C. Bartolo the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The match ends 2 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt M. Saliman. However, N. Muthyala made a disastrous appearance. C. Marinovic performed admirably for Sheares. On the other hand, D. Surmont's play was disheartening.
