Kaijam 0 - 2 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Kalium Colosseum saw a crowd turnout of 41565. Harry Kershisnik was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Branislav Schulz and Phil Roberts. Lineup: Werner - Hao Aik, Dascoli, Ah Min, Seng Teck, Brown - Lanzotti, Baeta, Schenkel - Kolchenko, Dutczak.

The following players had been chosen: Batâr - 中北 (Nakakita), Filippone - Trung Quá, Xin Lee, Xin Seng, Parvathaneni, Won - Saliman, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Wan Kang.

kaijam fielded a 5-3-2 lineup. For Grilled Birds, the formation of choice was 2-5-3. Grilled clearly preferred using their mythical ability to attack in the middle. Kaijam were very close to putting themselves one up after 6 minutes as P. Dutczak got through on the left. However, his concentration failed him, and he shot wide. C. Won came close to putting the visiting team one up 15 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but S. Werner managed to tip the ball to a corner. Kaijam almost scored after a swift counterattack 16 minutes into the game, but D. Kolchenko put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. With 18 minutes played, M. Saliman of Grilled fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Grilled had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 20 minutes in when 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) came up alone against S. Werner who managed a block. Kaijam's G. Lanzotti got himself booked for a foul. A slight injury to his right calf muscle meant V. Batâr had to leave the match early. It happened after 30 minutes. This gave D. Seng a chance to take to the field instead. The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 32 minutes, but S. Werner made a beautiful one-handed save. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 62 percent of the ball.

60 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. A. Leong Kum came on for 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . G. Filippone was handed the Grilled captain's armband. After 63 minutes, the Kaijam coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving P. Dutczak off the field. J. Duffaud took his place. As P. Dutczak left the field, the coach signaled to G. Dascoli to be the new set pieces taker. Grilled took the lead after 69 minutes making the score 0 - 1. A. Leong Kum placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for 悠. 中北 (Nakakita) who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. Kaijam's C. Ah Min was shown a yellow card after 83 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Grilled's C. Xin Lee left the field after 84 minutes having twisted his hand in a collision, causing a slight injury. The player that took his place was J. Tarin. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 2. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

The most dominating Kaijam player was without a doubt J. Duffaud. M. Schenkel was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was M. Saliman. On the other hand, D. Seng's play was disheartening.
