Happy Days For Saad

18 year-old Farmer Bunnies academy winger Saad Mohammad Abbas finally got the move he yearned for, after over two months of training with the reserves - and it was to a big name indeed too: Tristes Rabelo of the German Third Division.

Saad, all too often questioned about his connection to the former Malaysian League player (no relation), reportedly could hardly believe it, when his free transfer was confirmed. It could be a rough start to his professional career, granted, with head coach Simon Mathäus Schmandra chopping ten players from the Tristes squad, in just the last week.

This was, of course, hardly going to dissuade the excited youngster. "Heck, I'd go if I had to start as waterboy!"

In related news, the Chicken Wings and Rancher Rabbits academies have reportedly been advised by the national youth setup, to consider switching up their youth league participation. It is believed that the academy heads are studying the proposal.
