Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their magical level with that tactic. It was a bad day for the usually speedy R. Hodzelmans. The mud seemed to slow him down. C. Won came close to putting the visiting team one up 17 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but A. Sansone managed to tip the ball to a corner. The referee showed Grilled's K. Parvathaneni the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. J. Talamonti's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Yew, he bravely continued in the match. Grilled took the lead 26 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was the scorer. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 31 minutes played, J. Lüdersdorf of Yew made the score 1 - 1. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. Some great play up the middle by Yew led to a chance for J. Talamonti to score after 35 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. A. Sansone looked great 40 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . 42 minutes in, Grilled's 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Yew enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

A. Kaldelis performed admirably for Yew. J. Lüdersdorf on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly G. Dvorak. On the other hand, C. Xin Lee's play was disheartening.
