Leong Kum a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. 39 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Grilled lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

The home crowd cheered when, after 50 minutes, 田. 勇航 (Yonghang)'s charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. With 59 minutes played, T. Liiv of Blubbel fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A drive down the left side allowed L. Lee Hao to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 68 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6. Given a free kick close to the byline, Grilled tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let A. Leong Kum slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 7, 69 minutes into the game. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) could have put his team up another goal 74 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Grilled's 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) showed his experience, anticipating the outcome of the opponent's defensive clearance and positioning himself perfectly to volley in an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box. 0 - 8. C. Meyer came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over C. Englschalking but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 78 percent of the time.

H. Primpke performed admirably for Blubbel. On the other hand, B. Ringelmann's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was 田. 勇航 (Yonghang). G. Filippone was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
