Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 18 minutes into the match left Grilled's M. bin Mohd Kassim completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. H. Montenegro showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 23 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 1 - 1 equaliser away. Grilled's C. Meyer could have put the guests one up after 26 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but M. Kitaychuk was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Sportivo took the lead after 28 minutes as a result of V. Tumin's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

After 74 minutes N. Mello made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to R. Lugones who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 3 - 1. Grilled were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 75 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to 田. 勇航 (Yonghang), who smashed it home to make the score 3 - 2. The referee showed Grilled's G. Filippone the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. An equalising goal was close at hand, but W. Ping Shun clipped a free kick just wide of the goal. With 83 minutes played, Sportivo's L. Pereyra almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. After 86 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 3 - 3 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by M. bin Mohd Kassim. With the scoreboard clock showing 87 minutes, the inexperienced Sportivo team fell into disarray. 87 minutes into the match, Grilled nearly took the lead, as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through on the right. M. Kitaychuk made the save, however. 88 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. P. Bellamoli came on for L. Aik Jia. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 59 percent of the ball.

R. Lugones performed admirably for Sportivo. On the other hand, H. Montenegro's play was disheartening. Grilled's best player was 田. 勇航 (Yonghang). P. Bellamoli was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
