Nial 0 - 5 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Al Nial Arena saw a crowd turnout of 4373. Palle Erlandsen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Aries Jesus and Johnnie Chiesa. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Nial. The following players had been chosen: Talha - Abou El Ela, Al-Gharby - Bin Hendi, Fahmy, Haj-Omar, Al-Hamadi, Gawdat - Al-Abdel, Nagah, Peralta.

Grilled had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. Lineup: Rykowski - Bakhtiar, 福泉 (Fuquan) , bin Ahmad, Awyong - Lee Hao, bin Mohd Kassim, Isufi, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Meyer - Ying Lee.

Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Nial had a chance to take the lead after F. Al-Hamadi's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 10 minutes. 24 minutes into the game, Grilled had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. 0 - 1 was the score with 33 minutes played, after R. bin Ahmad cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Grilled. There was concern in the stands when, at the 40 minute mark, Grilled's C. Awyong hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. After 42 minutes, Grilled's M. bin Mohd Kassim burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Grilled get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 51 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave C. Ying Lee a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 53 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 54 minutes, making it 0 - 5. 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) was noted down as the scorer. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 60 minutes, L. Wan Kang came on for C. Ying Lee. 67 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. Nial's A. Peralta found himself alone on the left side 72 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! With 79 minutes played, Y. Fahmy of Nial fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Q. Madaini was the replacement. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, M. bin Mohd Kassim would have put Grilled up another goal 83 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Nial's T. Haj-Omar got himself booked for a foul. Nial had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

Nial's top performer was clearly T. Haj-Omar. However, B. Talha made a disastrous appearance. M. bin Mohd Kassim performed admirably for Grilled. H. Bakhtiar was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
