Jing Wei finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 27 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed L. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 28 minutes into the match, putting Grilled ahead 0 - 4. W. Ping Shun was the scorer. The players of Grilled now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 32 minutes of game time, M. bin Mohd Kassim had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but A. Efner was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. The referee showed Grilled's L. Wan Kang the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.

The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, W. Shun An came on for 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) . Z. Jing Wei left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. D. Bögengang was the replacement. 67 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 80 minutes, Grilled did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, D. Bögengang was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 5. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from C. Ying Lee after 82 minutes, and prevented Grilled from going up another goal. M. bin Mohd Kassim of Grilled seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 6 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by W. Ping Shun. The visitors' D. Bögengang took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 84 minutes into the match. 0 - 7 for Grilled. With 87 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 8 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was C. Ying Lee. Grilled had most of the ball, with 82 percent of possession.
