Ying Lee did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. C. Ying Lee was, after 31 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Vermeeren made the save. Grilled's C. Ying Lee was shown a yellow card after 33 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

After 51 minutes of play, T. Gulbrandsen equalised for Yew after an elegant attack from the right. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 68 minutes into the match left Grilled's M. bin Mohd Kassim completely free to score. 1 - 2 for the visitors. Z. Jing Wei came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over A. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 88 minutes, L. Wan Kang came on for M. bin Mohd Kassim. R. bin Ahmad wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 89 minutes into the game by Q. Madaini. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 56 percent of the ball.

Most important Yew player was D. Baliev. A. Vermeeren on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly C. Ying Lee. Q. Madaini was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
