Sunila came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. M. bin Mohd Kassim showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 12 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 1 - 1 equaliser away. As the 25 minute mark approached, the Pitaci coach decided it was time for a substitution. W. de Wilde reluctantly made way for G. Gozlan on the pitch. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to R. van der Ban, but the Grilled player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! V. Bileski finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 2 - 2 35 minutes into the match. The referee showed Pitaci's F. Hamada the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 38 minutes into the match, and A. Méndez Mercado wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 2 - 3 for the visitors. Pitaci's A. Méndez Mercado got himself booked for a foul. A drive down the left side allowed D. Patselas to get in close and score another goal for Pitaci after 41 minutes, taking the score to 2 - 4. 2 - 4 was the halftime score. Pitaci had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

With 60 minutes played, Pitaci put themselves up 2 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was P. Madzirov. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 3 - 5. Grilled reduced the lead to 4 - 5 with 68 minutes on the clock when Z.
