Wang Gets Wear

Teenaged utility player Wang Jun Guang became Grilled's first official transfer of the new campaign, as he went on a free to Bahraini Division Four club EA7 Armani Jeans. The Jeans have been recruiting aggressively in the past weeks, and Wang should have a fair shot at distinguishing himself in the young, cosmopolitan side.

It was definitely going to be the Mid-East for Wang, who had also considered a bid from Dubai Sound Tigers. Youth scout Lim Hock Puay described Wang as versatile, almost to a fault. "He's played everywhere but striker and goalie." Lim noted. "The boy's a quick one, both on his feet and in his head."

While Wang gets started on his new life abroad, it will sadly be the end of the road for two of his Chicken Wings classmates, who have resolved to pursue new endeavours after repeated attempts to secure a new club. Ang Chi Chin and Tan Teck Rong will now enrol in a sports management course at Nanyang Polytechnic.
