O.C.K. had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation. Lineup: Saseta - Kittang, Asproudis, Ortíz, Frinovskiy, Fintanopoulos - Corasaniti, Wopienka, Dijkens, Bonnet - 杰伦 (Jielun).

Grilled decided to play creatively. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of O.C.K.. F. Asproudis behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 9 minutes as he gave the ball away to D. Bacelar. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. After 21 minutes, O.C.K.'s R. Dijkens fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 23 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Grilled to take the lead after a good cross from the right found L. Wan Kang alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. 24 minutes into the game, 潘. 杰伦 (Jielun) finished off a O.C.K. left wing counterattack, making the score 0 - 1. After 27 minutes, the defensive line of O.C.K. created a counterattack through the middle that gave R. Dijkens a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The crowd roared in delight as H. Bakhtiar finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Grilled 29 minutes into the match. 1 - 1. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Grilled fans held their breath as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 87 percent.

Maybe due to the uphill battle the team was facing, the O.C.K. manager looked to change things around. After 46 minutes, H. Ortíz and J. Bonnet swapped positions on the field. With things not going too well on the field, the O.C.K. coach made the decision to swap the positions of V. Frinovskiy and H. Wopienka with 46 minutes played. Still trailing on the score board, O.C.K. adjusted their tactics after 46 minutes. F. Asproudis had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with C. Corasaniti. Sensing defeat in the air, the O.C.K. manager directed M. Kittang and R. Dijkens to change positions with each other. This was 46 minutes into the match. A great save by keeper J. Saseta after 47 minutes kept the visitors in the game after 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) struck from the left with a real cannonball. With 50 minutes played, Grilled's L. Wan Kang almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. F. Asproudis was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a O.C.K. counterattack from the left after 51 minutes. His neat finish made the score 2 - 2. H. Bakhtiar would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. J. Cisquell entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 75 minutes. With 79 minutes played, H. Wopienka of O.C.K. fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, P. Bellamoli scored for Grilled putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 83 minutes. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. R. bin Ahmad wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for C. Awyong after 85 minutes. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 85 minutes, R. van der Ban came on for D. Bacelar. 潘. 杰伦 (Jielun) knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 3 - 3 after 87 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 85 percent of the ball.

As neither team was able to break the deadlock before the end of regular play, the teams took to the field again for extra time. The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs C. Ying Lee found it hard to get back into position. The crowd groaned its disapproval when W. Ping Shun missed a free kick that would have given Grilled the lead after 110 minutes. With the score still deadlocked after extra time, the teams took to the field for a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.

Grilled's R. van der Ban didn't look like he was confident as he stepped up, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of J. Saseta. The score remained 3 - 3. O.C.K.'s C. Fintanopoulos showed he has nerves of steel when it comes to penalties, easily changing the score to 3 - 4. Grilled's D. Seng penalty shot was very well placed but J. Saseta went the right way, blocking it spectacularly. The score was still 3 - 4. O.C.K.'s 潘. 杰伦 (Jielun) was relaxed as he smoothly put the ball in the net. 3 - 5! Grilled's L. Wan Kang made no mistake. J. Saseta didn't have a chance. 4 - 5. Clearly nervous from the start, O.C.K.'s H. Wopienka took a long run up, but could only blast the ball over the bar. The score remains 4 - 5. Grilled's P. Bellamoli looked nervous even as he was putting the ball on the spot. He didn't take much of a run up, and his weak shot was easily saved by the keeper. O.C.K.'s C. Corasaniti looked like he knew exactly where he wanted to put the ball, but unfortunately his shot went wide of the left hand post. Still 4 - 5. Oooh - how unlucky! Grilled's C. Awyong attempt hit the underside of the bar, but rebounded down into the grateful arms of J. Saseta. The score stays 4 - 5. Most important Grilled player was 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . However, C. Awyong made a disastrous appearance. O.C.K.'s top performer was clearly R. Dijkens. J. Bonnet turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 5.
