The guests took the lead 24 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) scoring to make it 0 - 1. With 25 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed C. Ying Lee of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. UNITED's J. Nxumalo got himself booked for a foul. After 34 minutes, Grilled's 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. J. Nogueras's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. W. Shun An received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 42 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. A marvellous UNITED effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 43 minutes by A. Thury, making the score 1 - 4. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave C. Ying Lee from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 44 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! UNITED had to make a substitution after 44 minutes. P. Wettergren limped off the field and was replaced by F. Forster. It was 1 - 4 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

Grilled increased their lead after 55 minutes when M. bin Mohd Kassim broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. Grilled's L. Aik Jia was shown a yellow card after 71 minutes for slicing down an opponent. In a fantastic display of determination, UNITED's F. Eskwandem forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. After 73 minutes of game time, C. Ying Lee had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but F. Forster was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. G. Filippone wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by Q. Madaini. After 81 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 6. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let R. van der Ban replace W. Ping Shun after 87 minutes. The referee showed Grilled's 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

UNITED's best player was A. Thury. F. Forster turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Grilled player was C. Ying Lee. R. van der Ban on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 6.
