Grilled preferred to finish off their attacks from a distance. Artsakh seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. 16 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
weak.
Valentyn Chetvertak had a good opportunity to give Artsakh the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. With the clock showing 32 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Grilled resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by
Dennis Kong in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Artsakh were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 39 minutes,
Valentyn Chetvertak swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 0 - 1. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.
The Grilled players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
solid organisation when the game started again. After 46 minutes, Grilled switched
梁. 力勇 (Liyong) with
凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) , hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Still trailing on the score board, Grilled adjusted their tactics after 46 minutes.
Chow Ying Lee had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with
卢. 尊文 (Zunwen) . The coach of Artsakh was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes,
Fadey Gaponyuk came on for
Gevorg Bohchalyan. As the game started to slip away for Grilled, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
Djan Bacelar missed a penalty after 71 minutes that would have put the teams level. The home crowd cheered when, after 77 minutes,
Valentyn Chetvertak's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 78 minutes in, Grilled appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
solid. With 80 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
Gleb Dorogan came on,
Djan Bacelar had to leave the fray. Grilled's
田. 勇航 (Yonghang) almost tied things up with 80 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post.
Hovaness Noubaryan was called on to replace Grilled's
Dan Seng after 85 minutes following a nasty collision. 87 minutes into the game, Grilled had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
weak. After 88 minutes Grilled showed some great patience outside the penalty area, waiting until
Colby Awyong could find the right opportunity to finish off the attack from distance. The long shot, however, was an easy catch for
Fadey Gaponyuk. Grilled had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.
Grilled's top performer was clearly
Rashid bin Ahmad.
Dennis Kong was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Artsakh player was without a doubt
Pier Luigi Pederboni. On the other hand,
Simon Badrigyan's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 1.
