That was far too lenient! José Alberto Nilo tried to get a goal back for Rapalites but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. It took several tries, but Rapalites managed to break through on the left after 38 minutes, getting the ball to 何. 文扬 (Wenyang) who easily reduced the lead to make the score 2 - 3. A drive down the left side allowed Zhao Jing Wei to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 39 minutes, taking the score to 2 - 4. 2 - 4 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

The home crowd were delighted when Musa bin Abd Kadir scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 3 - 4. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! The referee showed Rapalites's José Alberto Nilo the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
