Grilled 3 - 3 Z-FC

ather conditions were fairly good for football, and The Cooking Pot saw a crowd turnout of 53663. Víctor Regúlez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Maciej Wojewódka and Silvano Zippert. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Starters: Kryus - 福泉 (Fuquan) , Madaini - Shun An, 长春 (Changchun), Jing Wei, 尊文 (Zunwen) , Shaahee - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee.

Z-FC decided to use a 5-3-2 set up. Lineup: Wong - Froidevaux, Skoupil, Anderson, Guiga, Matias - Wölm, Pozuelo, Hansel - bin Osman, Espel.

Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Z-FC. Grilled broke through on the left 2 minutes into the game, with Zhao Jing Wei firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. 26 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Grilled. Coming from the right, Zhao Jing Wei almost managed to score another goal for Grilled, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Grilled to 3 - 0 as Qassem Madaini finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Jens Anderson stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Z-FC the goal to make it 3 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

Z-FC's Vanderson Guiga was able to reply, after 67 minutes, making the score 3 - 2 with a well struck penalty. Z-FC's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 78 minutes gone, but Soriano Espel's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Grilled's Zhao Jing Wei had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 80 minutes having been played. Gleb Dorogan was the replacement. After 83 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Colby Wong made a spectacular save. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Rashid bin Ahmad replace 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) after 85 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Gleb Dorogan from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Unfortunately for Z-FC, Kim Matias was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. Liu Su Teck replaced him. Vanderson Guiga levelled the score for Z-FC, making it 3 - 3 on a free kick that went in by way of the right post. Arnold Hansel of Z-FC was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Grilled's Chow Ying Lee tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Grilled had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. Gleb Dorogan was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Z-FC player was without a doubt Khaironnisam bin Osman. Liu Su Teck turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
