This gave Grilled the 1 - 0 lead. Grilled's Leong Wan Kang swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Taiwan's Kai Magleby put the ball in the onion bag after 34 minutes to make it 1 - 1. Taiwan's Carmelo Fedencrini gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 35 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Grilled, but Colby Awyong's shot went over the bar. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Grilled, but the shot went well wide of the goal. With 38 minutes played, R. Orrù nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. It was 1 - 2 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) the opportunity the player had been hoping for. 梁. 力勇 (Liyong) reluctantly left the field. Dario Giangreco of Taiwan seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 3 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by O. Uzgör. After 65 minutes, Taiwan sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached 夏. 關源 (Guanyuan) , who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 4. Confident in their lead, Taiwan's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Carmelo Fedencrini from Taiwan a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 74 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 76 minutes, Taiwan's Aldo Tondello burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 5. At 77 minutes into the game, Grilled's Leong Wan Kang deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 5. After 85 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Carmelo Fedencrini a chance to increase the lead for Taiwan, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 6. Taiwan's Aldo Tondello got himself booked for a foul. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's Leong Wan Kang was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 88 minutes. Pompeo Bellamoli was given a chance to change things around. With 88 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Gleb Dorogan came on, Colby Awyong had to leave the fray. Grilled had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

卢. 尊文 (Zunwen) performed admirably for Grilled. Hovaness Noubaryan turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Taiwan player was Dario Giangreco. On the other hand, Kai Magleby's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 6.
