At the beginning of the game, Grilled appeared to have already taken this victory to the bank. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. The wings were the focus of most of Siegmund's attacks today. Daan Hemelrijk, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim gave Grilled the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 After 24 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and 卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Chow Ying Lee squirmed through their central defence after 25 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. The home side's 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) came close to extending the lead 34 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but Mohd Azmani bin Hasyim managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

56 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Grilled. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Shiya Shaahee replace Abdul bin Jantan after 65 minutes. The referee showed Grilled's Seytek Djekshenkulov the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Siegmund reduced the lead after 72 minutes to 4 - 1 as Edmundo Gaitán easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. Grilled's 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 73 minutes. 76 minutes into the game, Siegmund's attack got through on the right, but Feddo Heersema couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. Grilled's Chow Ying Lee got himself booked for a foul. 81 minutes in, Siegmund appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. 凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for 梁 (Liang) 力勇 (Liyong) after 85 minutes. After 85 minutes, Grilled sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Shiya Shaahee, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 5 - 1. With 86 minutes played, Daan Hemelrijk had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. The rain made it hard for players like Shiya Shaahee to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. Cheers filled the stadium as Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 1 to Grilled. At that, Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim was noted down for a hat trick! Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Most important Grilled player was Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. However, Seytek Djekshenkulov made a disastrous appearance. Siegmund's top performer was clearly Leo Simons. Daan Hemelrijk was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 1.
