Infantry 0 - 8 Grilled
000 spectators had come to Infantry CF Arena this cloudy day.
Traian Sfetcu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mario Caramelli and
Svante Thorstensson. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Infantry. The following players had been chosen: Hock Heng - Jun Jian, Tse Tong, Keong Kim, Wen Ho - Kiong Jun, Ng, Heng Fu, Hui How - Ong, De Yong.
Grilled had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. They fielded: Noubaryan - Bakhtiar, Awyong - Shaahee, bin Mohd Kassim, bin Jantan, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee - Yong Yau, Wan Kang, Wee Li.
Today, Grilled's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 20 minutes into the match left Grilled's
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. 25 minutes in, Grilled's
Shiya Shaahee received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
Lee Keong Kim was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Infantry's
Don Forrester had to come off the bench. Grilled were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The home crowd was not impressed when
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 27 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 2. The visitors added to their lead 28 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Grilled's

Lim Tse Tong forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Infantry's
Neo Hui How got himself booked for a foul.
Abdul bin Jantan fired a shot from distance after 41 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Grilled. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.
Abdul bin Jantan left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) was the replacement.
Colby Awyong of Grilled seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 4 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by

Chow Ying Lee who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 7. The referee showed Infantry's
Khoo Kiong Jun the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 70 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. Grilled had most of the ball, with 75 percent of possession.
Chee Jun Jian performed admirably for Infantry.
Lee Hock Heng was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was
